Anna Chaplaincy is commissioned and supported by Colchester Methodist Circuit to offer spiritual care, pastoral support, and companionship to older people in Colchester and the surrounding areas.

We work with Churches, care homes, healthcare professionals, community groups, and voluntary organisations.

Our Services, supporting you

Later life can bring many changes, including retirement, illness, bereavement, loneliness, reduced mobility, or moving into care settings. Anna Chaplaincy seeks to walk alongside older people through these experiences with understanding, kindness, and pastoral support.

Memory Worship

Memory Worship offers gentle, accessible services for older people, bringing together familiar music, meaningful reflection and opportunities to connect with faith, others and the wider community.

Messy Vintage

Messy Vintage combines familiar songs, simple creative activities and gentle reflection to create joyful, meaningful moments of connection, faith and community for older people.

Coffee Gatherings

Our Coffee Gatherings offer a relaxed and welcoming space to enjoy good conversation, friendship and a warm cup of coffee, helping older people stay connected and feel part of the community.
